Strain Description:

Mammoth also called the Wooly Mammoth is a Sativa with larger-than-life flowers, flavors, and buzzy effects. The Wooly Mammoth is a cross between unique hybrid LA Confidential and the very resinous Snowcap. It is a great strain for consumers who want to illuminate their daily agenda without becoming totally incapacitated. Mammoth’s THC levels have been measured at between 12% and 21%.

Mammoth’s flowers are usually Mammoth-sized,  these huge buds have the dense, tightly-packed structure that more commonly comes with indicas. Mammoth’s buds are coated in translucent white trichomes, which account for the strain’s psychoactivity and makes it hard to break up without a quality grinder. Mammoth gives off a pleasant scent reminiscent of honey or molasses. These sweet scents are accented by a fruity, citrus-like character.

Genetics:

This marijuana strain is bred from the unique hybrid LA Confidential and the very resinous Snowcap..  This is a rare balanced hybrid strain (50:50 sativa/indica ratio).

Potency:

THC percentage levels of the Mammoth tend to stay between 12-21%, however, the one we tested is above this level due to its AAAA+ grade. Because the buds we tried were potent it might not be the best for morning or daytime smoke but it is still a well-balanced hybrid, you will not be glued to your couch for the day.

Appearance:

The buds tested were average-sized but really dense. As you can see in the above pictures the green and purple nugs are completely coated in a thick frosty blanket of tiny bright white crystal trichomes that look almost like fresh snow. Orange Pistils are also abundant among the nugs making this strain look gorgeous. The appearance of this strain is definitely yummy: Green, Purple, White, Orange... What else do we ask for?

Aroma:

Mammoth gives a pleasant scent of honey, these sweet scents are accented by a herbal and Woody character. Combusting the buds releases its earthy overtones with a woody undertone that perfectly complements its terpene profile.

Flavor:

Mammoth is a delicious strain that tantalizes the palate with its honeyed smoke. Swirling it in the mouth brings out its sweet earthy flavor tinged by a tangy citrus. Meanwhile, the exhale leaves a woodier aftertaste that lasts beyond the high.
